They project that over the next decade there will be an increase of over 31,000 jobs in the health care industry. The Largest Health Care Sector Employers in Oregon

• Providence Health Systems: Employs over 45,000 employees in multiple states, in Oregon they have around 13,500 employees. Locations in Hood River, Medford, Mt. Angel, Newberg, Portland, and Seaside.
• Oregon Health and Science University: Employ nearly 11,500 employees. Located in Portland Oregon.
