- WellStar Health Systems: Operates five hospitals 2 in Marietta, 1 in Austell, 1 in Douglasville and 1 in Dallas as well as multiple specialty facilities. WellStar has more than 11,000 employees. The Atlanta Business Chronicle named them one of "Atlanta's Top 25 Employers" and Atlanta Woman Magazine recognized WellStar as on of the "Top Companies for Atlanta Women in 2006”. They provide a comprehensive benefits package.
- Emory University Hospital: Located in Atlanta. There are five "operating unit" facilities in the area. Nice looking benefits package that is effective on day 1of employment.
- Northeast Georgia Medical Center & Health System: Located in Gainesville. Comprised of two medical centers, two long term care facilities, a mental health center and other specialty facilities. Opportunities for both clinical and non-clinical professionals. Northeast Georgia Medical Center has nearly 5,000 employees and lots of career opportunity.
- Northside Hospital: Located in Atlanta. Employs over 4,500 professionals and more than 1,700 physicians.
- Dekalb Medical Center: Located in Decatur. Dekalb Medical is three hospitals around Decatur. They employ 3,800 professionals and 775 physicians. They offer many opportunities for career advancement as well as entry-level opportunities. Not all positions with these organizations will require a formal education, however, the allied health, nursing and professional positions will require at least an associate degree for entry-level jobs.
